It began with a shared purpose: to increase access to quality eye care after witnessing the impact of preventable eye diseases and limited medical resources in rural South India.

 

Inspired by their interests in Ophthalmology, artificial intelligence, and global health, Puja and Vishal started AI and Eye, a nonprofit organization driven by a mission: to improve the Awareness, Accessibility, and Affordability of eye care. AI and Eye is a nonprofit organization in the State of California and an official 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization.

Our goal is to spark student-driven projects that leverage cutting-edge technology in the field of Ophthalmology. We hope to inspire future generations of students to advocate for eye health, fostering meaningful discussion and initiating tangible actions toward preventative measures against eye diseases.
