OUR MISSION
AI and Eye aims to increase the Awareness, Accessibility, and Affordability of eye care to prevent avoidable vision impairment and blindness. Our goal is to develop innovative solutions that address the Triple-A of eye care utilizing artificial intelligence and digital tools. We seek to help individuals preserve their vision for life and build a community of students interested in the intersection of healthcare, medical innovation, and global health.
ACCESSIBILITY
Access to affordable, high-quality eye care is key to long-term eye health.
AFFORDABILITY
Those who live in rural areas have to travel long distances to receive care. Reliable access to eye care resources is essential to preserve vision.
Public awareness of common eye diseases and their symptoms is vital for screening, early detection, and prevention.

COMMUNITY SERVICE
Our members can participate in vision screenings and health fairs in the greater Los Angeles area. We also raise critical funds for eye care services in underserved areas.
Members will work with high school students to develop systems that get young adults aware of the application of artificial intelligence in providing vital sight saving services. Chapters will collaboratively raise funds to provide critical eye care services in remote areas.
MENTORSHIP
EDUCATION
We connect members with medical and industry professionals through guest speakers. Members create presentations, infographics, and articles to raise awareness about eye diseases and the future of vision care.
Participate in the AI Team composed of undergraduate students from various fields who collaborate with advisors to propose and implement AI and technology-powered solutions in eye care.
